Medicare Supplements

Medicare covers a large portion of senior medical expenses.

However, the annual deductibles and co-insurance requirements leave many seniors with high out-of-pocket costs.

Private insurance companies offer Medicare supplement plans to alleviate the financial burdens imposed by relying solely on Parts A & B.

Standardized Plan Options

Medicare supplement insurance plans must follow federal and state laws designed to protect you.

Insurance companies may only offer a "standardized" policy that is identified by plan letter.

These companies charge a monthly premium and offer coverage that protects financial assets in the event needed medical services are not covered by original Medicare.

We work with seniors to help them understand Medicare supplement options.

We provide cost break downs and plan comparisons from multiple carriers so that you can make an informed and wise choice.

Since Medicare supplemental insurance plans are standardized, they all must offer the same basic benefits.

Plan Highlights

  • Plans pay the deductibles and co-insurances that are required by original Medicare.

  • Medicare Supplements allow you the freedom to use any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare.

  • Policies provide peace of mind.

  • Medical expenses are covered at an affordable, predictable monthly costs.

  • No unexpected medical expenses like deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays with most plans.

Medicare Supplement Benefits Chart 2021

Who is eligible?

During your first 6 months of Medicare Part B coverage, your acceptance is guaranteed, regardless of your current health issues or pre-existing conditions.

If you apply for a Medicare supplement policy at a later time, you may need to answer some health questions in order to qualify.

However, these rules are different in each state. Missouri, for example, has a Guaranteed Issue law that allows you guaranteed acceptance, regardless of health issues or pre-existing conditions around the time of the policy renewal.

When can I switch plans?

Very often we are able to find seniors 66+ years old significant savings by finding identical plans with a more competitive insurance company.

Due to the convoluted rules of Medicare enrollment, many seniors mistakenly believe that signing up for Medicare Supplement is similarly complicated.

The good news is that you change your Medicare Supplement insurance at any time.
